You can learn the fundamentals of trading through courses and schools and so on. But the key to your true success in trading stocks, bonds , forex etc is to have your own trading style. Especially for day trading. The reason for this is simple.

You can never truly copy another persons style exactly and have the same results as the person that developed the style you are using. Am I saying it is not good to learn from another style - No. But you should always work and develop your natural instincts when it comes to your own.

All the trading classes and courses are a good starting point. You can learn fundamental and technical aspects. You can learn to read charts. Get help developing a plan and all the psychological aspects of trading the markets. This is what all these classes and courses are best suited for and that is important.

But as you learn the these important core skills, always be developing what you see is the best way to trade your given market. Your instincts are the key to your success. No one sees what you see, or thinks the way you do. No one has your unique gifts and talents that will produce the results that only you can produce.

I think this is a big part of trading the markets that is somewhat over looked. All major players in the market have their own distinctive style. There are no duplicates at all, not one. Yes, the key to your success is your own trading style. Learn all you can from others that have blazed the trail of success, but come out with your own style to achieve your ultimate successes.
